The Art & Wine Faire is a great way to experience the vibrant arts community in San Carlos. A full band lineup spanning multiple stages brings local music to the experience, and there’s even a family fun zone for the kids. There’s also the wintertime Night of Holiday Lights, a downtown festival that features holiday food and drinks, caroling, holiday-themed arts and crafts, and performances and activities. 

Bookworms will appreciate the San Carlos Library, which has a large collection of books, movies, and other resources, as well as a spacious reading room and several community meeting rooms. The library is a great place to relax and catch up on some reading or to attend one of the many educational events hosted there. There’s also the Hiller Aviation Museum. It showcases the history of aviation and the innovations made in this field over the years. One of the museum's most notable features is its extensive collection of historic aircraft, including over 50 historic aircraft on display, ranging from early prototypes to modern military helicopters.
